The Chamber Choir of Asia is a professional-level ensemble of internationally-renowned and award-winning conductors, composers and singers coming together to perform contemporary choral music. In partnership with choirs in Europe and the Asian continents, the group will mount a series of concert-workshops in eleven countries, in seven schedules:

Towards the pursuit of promoting contemporary choral music and development and sharing of choral culture, methodology, techniques and appreciation among members in the region, The Chamber Choir of Asia will present a program featuring the music of Benjamin Britten, Elliot Carter, Karlheinz Stockhausen, Gyorgy Ligeti, Olivier Messiaen and other works from Asian composers. Artistic direction is by Jonathan Velasco.
Membership is by invitation only and includes Aileen Cura, Luz Roque, Joy Tamayo, Therese Roldan, Luningning San Jose, Anna Piquero, Ella Baarde, Darleen Hernandez-Yu, Malou Hermo, Luzviminda Modelo, Krina Cayabyab, Edgardo Manguiat, Oscar Pantaleon Jr, Edmund Piquero Jr, Demy Dizon, Frederick de Santos, Rem Valenzuela, Robert Delgado, Tristan Ignacio, Jonathan Velasco, John August Pamintuan, and Paolo Pardo.
In September 2010, five new Asian member-conductors have joined the group.
